Head of Talent Acquisition

Job Purpose or Summary

  • Build strong talent pipelines to satisfy our current as well as future hiring needs
  • Lead our sourcing strategies
  • Manage our partnerships with alumni associations, colleges and job boards

Main Responsibilities

TALENT ACQUISITION MANAGEMENT

  • Design, execute, and communicate an optimal talent acquisition strategy and process to meet our growth needs
  • Serve as a recruiting advisor and partner to our leadership team and be a critical driver of recruiting excellence across the organization
  • Recruit for positions and leverage external resources for optimal alignment of our resourcing,
  • Align HODs, CO to optimize workforce planning
  • Build strong Employer Branding, corporate branding holds the key to successful Recruitment Marketing and Talent acquisition in the end.
  • Ensure our recruiting process, status, and priorities are well communicated and understood by the leadership, and our goals are tracked and achieved in terms of quality, time, budget
  • Partner with our Communications team to promote our brand, mission, and values through our recruiting process and collateral
  • Collaborate with the leadership team and hiring managers to clarify hiring profiles with increasing rigor
  • Lead Employer Branding activity as part of including outreach and relationship-building to deliver a highly qualified diverse applicant pool and outcomes
  • Develop innovative sourcing strategies to find highly capable candidates, and build talent pipelines
  • Measure and review outcomes and develop insights to improve our process, team productivity and development, candidate experience, and overall recruiting process
  • Drive a culture of compliance and ensure compliance requirements are met

ORGANIZATION AND TEAM MANAGEMENT

  • Build, lead, and coach a growing yet lean team of exceptional talent acquisition professionals, who execution of recruitment to fulfill hiring requirements, ensuring a timely pipeline of talent pools required to meet the current and future needs of the business
  • Continuously improve upon time to fill, the budget of hire, candidate and hiring manager satisfaction scores, and quality of hire
  • Manage all routine reporting including presentations for the executive management team
  • Mentor and coach a high-performing Talen tAcquisition teams
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovating on engagement strategies, hiring processes, delivery models, and tools
  • Develop and manage robust global metrics and KPIs to measure talent acquisition’s effectiveness and leverage data to identify actionable intelligence
  • Develop Health Service Relations organizational structure, job descriptions, budget to perform the company strategies/goals. Ensure periodical review or whenever necessary.
  • Develop departmental and individual KPIs, do alignment with direct line manager and ensure the target achievement.
  • Cascade targets to subordinates by assigning KPIs, giving instructions, supporting for achieving the targets and ensuring performance appraisal as requested
  • Build-up and develop the team, organize and assign tasks, manage the team performance; implement the employees’ competence evaluation and have professional development activities to fix gap between the current and expectation.
  • Deliver training of processes, procedures, work standards/instructions to subordinates, and ensure the compliance within the delegated function.
  • Create best practices for the teams in the systematic approach and ensure activities are delivered in line with these best practices (Includes SOPs, process, policies, work instructions, improvement ideas)
  • Motivate, encourage employee engagement and ensure a positive work environment.

LEADERSHIP MANAGEMENT

  • Partner with CEO and HODs equity and Inclusion, and internal stakeholders to facilitate the internal movement of people into new opportunities as part of the promotion of talent at Pharmacity

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor or advanced degree
  • Professional major: Business Administration, Human Resource Management is preferred
  • 2nd language ability: Fluent English(4 skills)
  • Computer usage ability: Microsoft Office (word, excel, power-point)
  • At least 05 years experience in Recruitment at the same position
  • 10+ years recruiting leadership experience with Retail, Pharmacia, FMCG
  • A dynamic recruiting leader well-networked in relevant and or multi-industry contexts– e.g., pharmaceutical or similar manufacturing environment, retail, technology
  • Passionate about talent acquisition and generating a diverse, capable, smart, engaged workforce
  • Leads a fast-paced function to drive the business forward
  • Proficient in OMS systems and reporting status and outcomes
  • Experience with mergers/acquisitions and organizational restructuring
  • Excellent writing skills – can package ideas simply and persuasively
  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s jobs, qualifications, and compensation
  • Enjoys spending time at sites/stores and engaging and building relationships with teams and employees
  • Thrives at relationship building with exceptional communication and influencing skills
  • Strong business acumen and judgment. Able to assess trends from data in a convincing and direct way for better decisions
