[SSC] Category Supervisor

Main Responsibilities:

1. Market & Assortments

  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand trends, consumer behavior, and competition in the omnichannel market (Shopee/Lazada/Tiki/Tiktok/Grab…, online channel of other retailers and brands,…)
  • Identify and sources of assortments that align with current market demand and customer preferences.
  • Work with data analytics tools and customer insights to adjust the product assortment according to omnichannel needs.

2. Exclusivity Negotiation

  • Build relationships with suppliers and brands to negotiate exclusive deals to offer products and promotions only available on Pharmacity’s omnichannel.
  • Find, create, nurture new potential joint-partnerships to improve the competitiveness of Pharmacity in the omnichannel space, stay ahead of the game, and always deliver best-in-class offerings to consumers

3. Omnichannel Advertising Package

  • Offer to suppliers and brands our ads packages on Pharmacity omnichannel platforms, maximizing brand exposure and media revenue stream for Pharmacity.
  • Develop and implement strategies to relentlessly improve creative visibility of brands/products on our platform, ensuring that Pharmacity’s omnichannel platforms are market leading attractive marketing channel for partners.

4. Supplier Management

  • Engage with suppliers for ongoing stock management, promotions, new product launches, ensuring stock levels meet omnichannel demand.
  • Negotiate trading terms, pricing, rebate/claim back and co-marketing agreements to support omnichannel growth and add indirect values to offline retail.

5. Collaboration

  • Work closely with Digital Experience, Trading and Marketing teams to ensure products are well-represented across online and offline touchpoints.
  • Ensure promotions and advertising are effectively communicated and executed across Pharmacity’s omnichannel.

6. KPI

  • Align with Omnichannel Sales Manager on personal KPIs related to product sourcing, sales, and exclusive deal performance. Strive to meet or exceed the sales and profit targets for the omnichannel category.
  • Monthly growth of net sales expected at minimum of 15% on Omnichannel for VHB categories, remains profitable as per assigned target.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in retail buying, preferably with a focus on omnichannel or e-commerce platforms
  • Strong understanding of omnichannel and e-commerce market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of responsibility and commitment.
  • Analytical mindset, capable of using data to drive decisions
