JOB PURPOSE OR SUMMARY

We are seeking a Data Scientist skilled in Python and Machine Learning to address complex business challenges. In this role, you will collaborate with data analysts and data engineers, engaging in tasks ranging from data collection and preprocessing to analysis and modeling. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collect and integrate data from diverse sources, including databases, APIs, and web scraping.
• Conduct preprocessing and cleansing of data to ensure its quality and reliability.
• Perform exploratory data analysis using descriptive and inferential statistical methods.
• Develop and assess machine learning models using Python libraries like scikit-learn, pandas, and numpy.
• Optimize model performance through cross-validation, hyperparameter tuning, and feature engineering.
• Deploy and monitor machine learning models in production settings.
• Use Python libraries (matplotlib, seaborn, plotly) to visualize data insights and model outcomes, communicating these effectively to stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with senior data scientists and engineers in delivering data-driven solutions.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in data science and machine learning.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in data science.
• Proficiency in Python programming and data analysis.
• Demonstrated experience with the Databricks platform and cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
• Understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms.
• Familiarity with common Python libraries for data science and machine learning (e.g., scikit-learn, pandas, numpy).
• Capability to handle large and complex datasets.
• Effective communication skills for articulating complex ideas clearly.
